The last 3.0 event of the 2020 Akron Open Championships - the 3.0 Doubles Championships - looks to be a doozy! Technically, since the event is a round robin, there's no real need for a bracket reveal, but if we didn't reveal the bracket, WHAT WOULD WE WRITE ABOUT?!
In terms of who is looking to take home the socially distanced trophy, look for Abhijit and Devender to get off to an early lead versus doubles team newbies David and Travis while the big match in Round One looks to be Debabrata and Robert versus the Schneider Family! Who gets out of the 3.0 doubles gates the fastest in those opening matches could well determine who ends up hoisting the most glorious of all 3.0 Ohio trophies, the Akron Open 3.0 Doubles Championship! And considering the two leaders in the soon-to-be built Towpath 3.0 clubhouse don't actually face off until the final round, Round Five, well, let's just say that there couldn't be a potentially more fitting end to a potentially fantastic 3.0 event!
