Here it is, the 3.0 bracket reveal for the biggest and longest running Major* 3.0 event of the summer - the Akron Open Championships!
Here's what we know - a round-robin format will determine the Akron Open 3.0 Champion, a champion that will lead off what is turning out to be the most, um, memorable starts to a decade in ... well ... decades!

Wow! Former Akron Open Champion and all-time 3.0 great Bob certainly headlines Bracket A, as his experience and moxy make him a crowd favorite like none other! But look for newcomers Kody and Aaron to make some serious 3.0 noise as their mysterious nature gives them an immediate advantage over the field! But win Bracket A won't be easy, especially as they'll have to overcome the solid all-court play of tourney newbie Tom as well as tournament tested David, and not to mention former southwest player Jeff!
Bracket B Analysis
WOW part two! Bracket B hosts not one, not two, but THREE former Akron Open finalists! Travis has finished this event on the championship court the last two years in a row (showing he may in fact be a 3.0er lifer), even being able to boast one (very lucky) championship back in '18! Matt, meanwhile, holds countless Akron Open 3.0 records (trully, it's impossible to count them, both because there are so many of the them and because we are terribly bad at math), and has been an Akron Open 3.0 finalist twice himself! But these former finalists have their work cut out for them as rookie Scott, currently undefeated in 3.0 league play, and George, a tournament tested veteran who has played up in league play, are also in this bracket, as is mystery x-factor and former high school player Gabriel! But when the 3.0 dust settles, look for H. Michael, 2020's 3.5 Akron Open Champion (wait ... that's THIS year!), to take charge of Bracket B, thus giving him a chance to make Akron Open history - winning both the 3.5 and the 3.0 title ... IN THE SAME YEAR!
