BIOGRAPHY

L "Grey" Cochran, a West Virginia legend so 3.0 legendary that the "L" most likely stands for ... LEGEND.  Indeed, as the winningest player AND Captain in all of West Virginia, L has blazed a 3.0 trail that few can travel.  In league play, he's won nine total Flight Championships, dominating the 3.0 scene in his beloved "Mountain State" to a tune only Bob Denver could top!  Those nine team titles, a record for a player, is just part of his legendary status, for he also is near the top of the 3.0 mountain when it comes to leadership off the court, as his six Flight Crowns as a Captain clearly illustrate.  Perhaps, though, L's biggest mountain-like testament to 3.0 greatness is not only his dominant doubles ability during league play, but his ruggedly conspicuous doubles acument during tournament play.  For, with six doubles tournament titles, L is the all-3.0-time leader in said category, a noteworthy note in it's own right, but even more noteworthy is that he not only won swept all three 3.0 tournaments in the entire state of West Virginia in 2019, he also set a tag-team record by winning three events a piece with two different partners over the course of his career!  A true legend of the 3.0 game, L's West Virginia legacy as an all-3.0-time great was always, like the mountains of his home state, in clear view for all to see.  As such, it's no wonder that he's ascended the "rocky mountain high" that is the 3.0 mountain top as a member of the 2024 D.F.O. Hall of 3.0 Fame class!
