BIOGRAPHY

One of the most prolific tournament players of his time, Matt's success in all three phases of the 3.0 play - league, tournament, and playoffs - made him one of the most successful 3.0ers of the 2010s.  Indeed, in league play he enjoyed double digit wins in both singles and doubles, showing his all-court acumen.  In playoff play, Matt's success on the singles courts are still 3.0 record worthy, and he helped lead his team to back-to-back Midwest Ohio State Championship Championships!  Yet, it was in tournament play where Matt made a 3.0 name for himself, setting several tournament records during his amazing tenure, as few have walked upon the championship courts as often as he!  A master in all three phases of 3.0 player, Matt was the first ever 3.0er to be awarded back-to-back D.F.O. Singles Player of the Year awards, showing that he was among the greatest of his 3.0 generation!  With a league title, Midwest titles, and a tournament title to his name, Matt has truly done it all, and as such, he is a more than worthy inaugural inductee into the D.F.O. 3.0 Hall of 3.0 Fame!
