Player.  Captain.  Grand Poobah of NEO tennis.  One of the most decorated - and well dressed - 3.0 players of the 2010s, Michael's career was one of unmitigated 3.0 success.  As a player, he was one of the top doubles competitors in not just NEO, but the entire nation as well, with nearly 30% of his career wins coming in the postseason, often at the National level, where he was a key member of the best Ohio 40+ team of all-time, the NCRC team of 2018.  Speaking of all-time, as a captain, he enjoyed an astounding 84% winning clip, second best all-time, and led his Towpath teams to two straight Nationals appearances, culminating in a 4th place finish his final 3.0 season.  And speaking (again) of final seasons, in his final season, Michael not only played, but led with his actions as well, and did so so well that he won D.F.O. Captain of the Year awards! Four trips to Nationals in four seasons might be enough for some, but when all was said and done, Michael wasn't, and to this day he continues to lead the 3.0 tennis scene as Executive Director of U.S.T.A. tennis for the entire NEO area.  A player, a leader, and a statesman, Michael is a more than worthy inductee into the 2021 D.F.O. Hall of 3.0 Fame class!
